Building Control Management System

Open Sky Data Systems, in association with Cork County Council, has developed a Building Control system for Local Authorities

The Building Control Management System provides a user friendly, web-based method to manage ALL aspects of the building control process which applies to the regulation of the design and construction of new buildings, extensions, material alterations and certain changes of use to existing buildings

The Building Control Management System is a fully web based system and provides the following features:  

  • Simple and Intuitive user interface (Internet Explorer 6.0+)
  • Central Repository for all Building Control related data
  • Database Search Queries
  • Instantaneous reporting
  • Administrators can manage users, contacts and legislative clauses
  • Inspections can be recorded and non-conformances can be recorded against the relevant legislative clauses
  • Photographic images and scanned documents may be attached to a building control file
  • Auto-generation of enforcement letters/notices
  • Keeps track of all contacts between authority and solicitor/builder/developer/designer etc
  • Extendable system, can be integrated with handheld data collection devices, so that data is only ever entered once.
